 Assin Fosu Deanery elects new executive members

Sunday, 3rd August 2025, under the auspices of the Chaplain, Rev. Fr. Peter Paul Donkoh, the Dean Youth Chaplain, the delegates from the parishes within the precinct of the Fosu Deanery gathered at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Assin Nyankomasi, for a special exercise to elect executive members to steer the affairs of the youth within the Deanery. 

Through the power of the Holy Spirit, Ten(10) brethren were elected, comprising seven (7) gentlemen and three (3) ladies.

Chairman - Mr. Martin Tanfoagor(Assin Darmang Parish). 

Vice Chairman - Mr. Christian Essel(Assin Bereku)

Secretary - Mr. Reinhard Arthur(Assin Fosu). 

Deputy Secretary/PRO- Mr. Richard Ofosu Wiredu(Assin Darmang). 

Financial Secretary - Miss Juliana Esi Tetteh(Assin Fosu). 

Organisers - Mr. Benjamin Aboagye Danquah(Assin Jakai) and Mr. Meshack Beniakoh(Assin Darmang). 

Ladies's organisers - Miss Rosemary Antwi Bannerman(Assin Jakai) and Miss Justina Akarabo(Assin Bereku).

  St. George’s Parish, Komenda Inducts New Catechists During the Feast of Christ the King TheFeastOfChristTheKing — As part of the universal Church’s celebration of the Feast of Christ the King, St. George’s Parish, Komenda has officially unveiled and inducted new Catechists to serve in various stations under the parish. The solemn initiation ceremony was led by Rev. Fr. John Evans Kojo Afful, Parish Priest in the Archdiocese of Cape Coast. He prayed for the newly appointed Catechists, asking God to strengthen them with zeal, commitment, and dedication as they begin their ministry in the Church and in the families they will journey with.   Don’t Curse the Dark”: Archbishop Buckle Leads Dialogue on the Future of Catholic Youth            Most Rev Charles Gabriel Palmer Buckle  A special two-day seminar for Catholic youth was organized by Most Rev. Charles Gabriel Palmer Buckle, Metropolitan Archbishop of Cape Coast, to address the declining Catholic population and the sustainability of Catholic youth formation in Ghana. The symposium formed part of the Triple Anniversary celebrations of the Archbishop — his 75th Birthday, 49 years of Priestly Ordination, and 33 years of Episcopal Ordination.
