  St. George’s Parish, Komenda Inducts New Catechists During the Feast of Christ the King TheFeastOfChristTheKing — As part of the universal Church’s celebration of the Feast of Christ the King, St. George’s Parish, Komenda has officially unveiled and inducted new Catechists to serve in various stations under the parish. The solemn initiation ceremony was led by Rev. Fr. John Evans Kojo Afful, Parish Priest in the Archdiocese of Cape Coast. He prayed for the newly appointed Catechists, asking God to strengthen them with zeal, commitment, and dedication as they begin their ministry in the Church and in the families they will journey with. Charles Gabriel Palmer Buckle, Metropolitan Archbishop of Cape Coast, to address the declining Catholic population and the sustainability of Catholic youth formation in Ghana. The symposium formed part of the Triple Anniversary celebrations of the Archbishop — his 75th Birthday, 49 years of Priestly Ordination, and 33 years of Episcopal Ordination.
